Frequently Asked Questions

What does “clothing optional” mean at The Woods?

There are many terms associated with living nude—naturism, nudism, and clothing-optional lifestyles—all with slightly different meanings. At The Woods, “clothing-optional” simply means guests are free to dress (or undress) to their own comfort level while enjoying the resort.

We welcome guests of all experience levels, from first-timers to seasoned naturists. What’s most important is respect—for yourself and for others. While nudity is common and natural here, sexual behavior in common areas is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal from the resort.

Our goal is to maintain a friendly, respectful environment where everyone can unwind, connect, and be themselves—clothed or not.

Do you offer day passes?

We do not offer day passes.  Caliente next door however does and provides tons of amenities.

How do I check In? Is there a front desk?

We use a fully automated check in.  You will be given information about your stay via email after your booking and then two days before your arrival you will receive a gate code to give you 24 hour access to the park.  Simply proceed to your site and have a great time! In order to receive your gate code, please be sure to use a mobile phone number when reserving your site.

Additionally, please be sure to sign the terms and conditions before you arrive.  This will come in a separate email or can be completed from your reservation link.

What are your rates?

Our 2026 rates vary by site type and the length of your stay. Nightly stays range from $100–$150 per night depending on the site’s amenities.

Sites have three tiers based on their features. Each tier has its own nightly rate.

What are the nightly rates?

  • Tier 1: $100/night

  • Tier 2: $125/night

  • Tier 3: $150/night

Do you offer any discounts?

Do you offer weekly or monthly discounts?
Yes. Longer stays receive automatic discounts:

  • Weekly (6–27 nights): 15% off

  • Extended (27–179 nights): 25% off

Do you offer seasonal stays?
Yes. We now have two 180-day seasonal options:

  • High Season (Nov–Apr) and Low Season (May–Oct): 30% discount

Is pricing the same every day?

Not always. For 1–5 night stays, we use dynamic pricing similar to hotels. Rates may be slightly lower on slow dates and higher on peak dates.

How do I see the exact price for my stay?

Select your dates and site in our booking system — all discounts and adjustments are applied automatically before checkout.

Are there any additional fees associate with my reservation?

A 3.5% credit card processing fee and all required state and county taxes are added to every reservation.

Sites include a one-time setup fee based on the level of amenities — for example, sites with outdoor furniture, showers, or other enhanced features may have a slightly higher setup cost to ensure everything is ready for your stay.

Our park model includes a one-time cleaning fee.

My invoice says my site could be moved and I've chosen a specific site I want. Will I be moved?

No, under most circumstances, you will stay at the site you have booked online. In the extremely rare case there is a maintenance issue, such as no power or water, on the site, you will be moved to ensure you have the ability to stay.

When is Check-In and Check-Out?

Our Check-in time is 3:00 pm and Check-Out is 11:00 am. If you need flexibility, just text or email us and we'll try to accommodate you.  We often can based on the occupancy.

Are you pet friendly?

Absolutely! We love our pets at the Woods.  Animals are welcome but of course use the same courtesy you would want in your community.  Leashes are mandatory, and clean up after them!

Additionally we have a small fenced-in dog park to play some fetch.  The road around our park is 1/3 mile and a few laps and make for a nice walk as well.
